Transparent Chair

Furniture Design Transparent Chair by Wei Jingye / 魏靖野 Transparent is a chair made with 3D printing technology. The frosted plexiglass body has a rounded form, a smooth curved surface and a hard texture. The circular base adds stability, and the curve of the seat and back supports the spine during rest. The single chair measures 900 mm by 900 mm by 850 mm. The hollow centre can be used to store small items. The design follows the Zen idea of simplicity and emptiness found in Eastern tradition. The quiet form is intended to create a calm atmosphere in many kinds of spaces.
