Sustainable Products, Projects and Green Design ArtVinegar Vinegar Bottle by Chien-Chen Lai ArtVinegar is a do-it-yourself kit for turning imperfect fruit into fruit vinegar at home. The kit contains a glass bottle, a choice of vinegar flavors and a printed manual. Shoppers can select unappealing or overripe fruit at supermarkets, produce markets or small farmers markets. The bottle is made of recycled brown glass through a bubbling process, and the bubble pattern recalls the bubbles of vinegar fermentation. The empty bottle can be returned to the sales outlet for recycling. Food waste is reduced and sustainability is promoted.
