3D Printed Forms and Products Design Georgia Fashion Footwear by Elias Stahl Georgia is a high heel shoe made with 3D printing. The platform combines the insole, midsole, outsole and shank of a conventional heel into a single 3D printed part. A digital mesh cushion is built into the platform to give springy support, and internal mechanisms allow the whole shoe to act as a spring, which reduces wear over time. A window on the underside allows the upper to be separated from the platform, so all parts can be recycled. On-demand printing allows a wide size range, from size 4 narrow to size 14 wide.
