Walk DVRC Street Basket Mobile Landscape

Street Furniture Design Walk DVRC Street Basket Mobile Landscape by Vicky Chan Walk DVRC Street Basket is a mobile street pavilion created for a partial pedestrianization plan along Des Voeux Road Central in downtown Hong Kong. The structure measures 4 metres by 4 metres in plan and stands 3 metres tall, with a wood canopy carried on steel columns. Wheels and a battery are fitted below the structure, so the pavilion stays light and works without a connection to the utility grid. Seating, planting, shading and cellphone charging are provided. The pedestrianized zone can return to a road in less than five minutes.
