Sustainable Products, Projects and Green Design Doaba Dhaba Sustainable Food Packaging by Akkshit Khattar Doaba Dhaba is a sustainable food packaging system designed for a cloud kitchen in India. Main dishes are packed in handis, clay pots handcrafted by local artisans, closed with a clay lid and a label tied around the neck. Flatbreads such as rotis and naans are wrapped in freshly cut banana leaves tied with jute thread. Both items are then placed in a bag made of recycled paper. The materials are biodegradable and replace single-use plastic. Deliveries are made by electric vehicles to reduce the carbon footprint.
