Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Depois de Waldemar Cordeiro Lamp by Álvaro Wolmer Depois de Waldemar Cordeiro is a lamp inspired by a floor lamp made by a Brazilian artist in about 1955. The only surviving record of the original lamp is a small newspaper photograph. The lamp was recreated with contemporary materials and techniques. The structure is made of solid aluminum shaped by computer controlled machines and finished with electrostatic painting. A single 4W LED light source creates a range of shades, from dark gray to pure white, through internal reflections and the different distances between the source and the white rings.
