Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Six Grams Cutlery by Masaki NEMOTO Six Grams is a cutlery set made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Each knife, fork and spoon weighs six grams, which is far lighter than metal cutlery. The low weight allows the diner to sense the weight of the food itself rather than the weight of the utensil. Carbon fiber reinforced plastic is also hypoallergenic, so people with metal allergies can eat without concern. The thin black form gives the set an appearance different from conventional metal cutlery. Six Grams was created to place the food at the center of the dining experience.
