The outer fabric carries a metal aluminium heat back layer that reflects body heat radiation and reduces heat loss. A nano-silk powder cenosphere layer expands when heated and locks in still air for added insulation. The pattern applied to the heat back layer supports breathability. Protective glasses shield the eyes from wind and from light reflected by snow. A detachable front pocket with shoulder straps converts into a separate messenger bag.
