Waterfall Leisure Chair

Furniture Design Waterfall Leisure Chair by Wei Jingye / 魏靖野 Waterfall is a leisure chair designed for use in offices and for everyday relaxation. The flowing form is inspired by the Triberg Waterfall in Germany and by the hollow structure of old trees. Interlocking joints connect the legs to the seat, supporting the load and shaping the appearance. The backrest and the seat follow the curve of the human waist, and two symmetrical undulations on the seat surface improve comfort. The chair is made of European walnut. The organic form is milled by computer-controlled machines, and the surfaces are sanded by hand.
