Homeware Design Birdhouse Nest Toothpick Box by Di Lu Birdhouse Nest is a toothpick box designed for the table. The box is shaped like a bird's nest, and the toothpicks form the nest around a small bird. Each time a toothpick is taken out, part of the nest is removed, which recalls the loss of trees and of the habitats of birds. The design uses this simple metaphor to encourage care for nature and ecology. Birdhouse Nest is made of environmentally friendly plastic, shaped by plastic processing and assembly, and measures 78 by 78 by 86 millimeters.
