The system delivers and manipulates guidewires and catheters remotely. A master-slave control solution allows physicians to stay away from the radiation environment while keeping complete control. An adjustable gantry attaches to a surgical table when needed and is removed when not in use. The control console has two operating rods that reproduce the feel of traditional practice, so existing surgical skills remain useful. Shielding uses lead panels and lead glass.
