The frame is made of corrosion-resistant metal tubing with a particleboard top surface. The basket is offered in three surface materials: imitation rattan, teslin and cotton rope. Imitation rattan and teslin are waterproof and moisture-proof, so the basket does not become moldy in damp spaces and can be wiped clean. The basket slides out without moving the frame or the top surface. Lockable swivel casters allow easy movement. Percy measures 850 by 375 by 650 millimeters.
