Forma Chair

Furniture Design Forma Chair by Jaewoo Choi Forma is a chair shaped from vegetable tanned leather, MDF and steel. The form reinterprets the silhouette of a horse saddle. The leather is shaped by wet molding, one of the oldest leatherworking techniques, which creates structured and durable forms. Wet molding allows smooth transitions between soft and rigid areas, so the chair provides both comfort and support. Forma measures 560 mm in width, 605 mm in depth and 670 mm in height. The design adapts a traditional saddlery craft to contemporary furniture.
