Five independent air intakes work with a central negative pressure exhaust vent at the top of the crown, shortening the airflow path to expel warm and humid air. Each air channel has a manual valve that blocks wind and dust when closed. The visor uses a mechanical locking mechanism that prevents detachment during strong impact. The rounded jaw edge and recessed flexible lower edges spread impact loads over a wider area. The shell is molded from composite engineering plastic.
